A bedroom is the one room where making it darker usually makes it better. You are mostly in it when the sun is down.
What stayed the same
Same window in the same wall, with the same view of the neighbouring roofline. The upholstered armchair on the right is the same chair, just no longer buried under laundry, and the wooden dresser stayed in the corner beside it. The textured ceiling is unchanged. The after is framed tighter and taller than the before, so this is not the identical crop, but every fixed element in it is the same one.
What changed
The cream walls went deep green black, which stays warm under lamplight where a true grey would go flat.
